She worked at Heartland AEA on the challenging behavior and autism team and assisting districts with MTSS for social, emotional, behavioral and mental health. Angie earned her B.A. in English and Psychology from Roosevelt University, and M.Ed. & Ed.S. in Educational Psychology from National Louis University. She is a Registered Behavioral Therapist earning her BCBA from Florida Institute of Technology. She worked as a school psychologist in an Iowa AEA and has several years of experience at a suburban district in Illinois. Gena is an Assistant Research Professor at the Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon, where she conducts research focused on mathematics interventions and
assessment. Gena has 15 years of experience working in education, including as a high school
