Jen is a licensed school psychologist who hails from the state of Iowa. Jen has worked in the Area Education Agency system for Heartland AEA and her home region of Great Prairie AEA. Most recently she worked as an MTSS Education Program Consultant for the Iowa Department of Education. She resides in Des Moines, Iowa with her son William, and a zoo of animals, including the house rabbit, Jelly Bean.  You can reach her at

Jennifer is a school psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in research, early childhood & home visiting curriculum development, school improvement, assessment, and MTSS. She holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology from Central Michigan University, with a specialization in early childhood. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys gardening, reading, and time with her two children and husband. Jennifer is available for independent education consulting. Emily is a school social worker and board-certified behavior analyst with 20 years of experience. She worked at Heartland AEA on the challenging behavior and autism team and assisting districts with MTSS for social, emotional, behavioral and mental health.  She has a passion for PBIS, adult resiliency and wellness, and restorative practices.  Emily is a certified Restorative Practices trainer. Angie earned her B.A. in English and Psychology from Roosevelt University, and M.Ed. & Ed.S. in Educational Psychology from National Louis University. She is a Registered Behavioral Therapist earning her BCBA from Florida Institute of Technology. She worked as a school psychologist in an Iowa AEA and has several years of experience at a suburban district in Illinois. Meredith is a data analyst and project manager who recently started her own business primarily serving public schools.  She worked in special education and accreditation for the Iowa Department of Education for more than 15 years, where she specialized in data analysis, legal compliance, federal funding, and managing large scale data projects.  Meredith has her degree in environmental science from Drake University.  Contact her at meredith@thepublicprogress.com.

Gena is an Assistant Research Professor at the Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon, where she conducts research focused on mathematics interventions and

assessment. Gena has 15 years of experience working in education, including as a high school

math special education teacher and technical assistance facilitator supporting

MTSS implementation.  Gena received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of

He currently works for the University of Iowa, and previously worked at the Iowa Department of Education and Heartland AEA.
