We call our model of multi-tiered supports Atomic MTSS.  Atomic MTSS is MTSS driven at the local level in a system that is also defined locally. 

The essential components of MTSS have been defined in research for decades and are supported by important concepts from implementation science.  We call these critical components DATA, CORE, MORE, LEAD, and SUPPORT.  

The critical components of Atomic MTSS revolve around the Instructional Core: influencing the relationship between teachers, students, and content.
